The Parlour

Food

Where possible, all food served at Hunts Tor is locally produced and/or organic or fair traded.

Breakfast can be anything requested but ‘usual’ is cereal, fruit juice, fresh fruit, bacon and eggs and toast. We make our own bread and preserves and have a flexible approach to breakfast time.

We can do light evening meals and packed lunches on request.

The Drewe Arms, which serves lunch and evening meals, is a few steps across the village square. Fingle Bridge Inn, and the Sandy Park Inn are both close by and serve coffee, tea and good food.
For a memorable ‘top of the range’ meal, the Michelin starred Gidleigh Park Hotel, is about four miles from Drewsteignton. An excellent restaurant serving Modern European dishes is 22 Mill Street in Chagford

The moorland town of Chagford has several pubs, a delicatessen and cafés including a community owned and run café (The Courtyard) which serves organic, vegetarian food and sells whole foods and other organic produce.

Moretonhampstead has a well-priced excellent restaurant, The White Horse, which has music at weekends.

Exeter (fifteen miles) has a variety of pubs, clubs and restaurants, three cinemas and a spectacular cathedral.
